DĄBROWIACY
The "Dąbrowiacy" Folk Dance Ensemble of the Silesian University of Technology was founded in November 1973, following an initiative by the university’s students. By protecting and cultivating national heritage, the ensemble serves as an ambassador of Polish culture both at home and—perhaps most importantly—abroad.
The Team The ensemble consists of a highly qualified instructional staff and approximately 60 dancers. "Dąbrowiacy" is also accompanied by its own folk band made up of 8 musicians.
Repertoire The group is particularly dedicated to the faithful recreation of Silesian folk customs, which form the foundation of its identity.
Their repertoire includes a four-hour artistic program featuring regional and national themes, consisting of songs and dances from numerous regions of Poland:

-
