THE OPEN SOCIAL CHOIR

The Open Social Choir has been operating since 2019 at the Silesian Museum in Katowice. It brings together singing enthusiasts who are admitted to the ensemble solely based on their desire to make music together. Anyone can sing in the choir, regardless of their prior experience or skill level. The group's repertoire is characterized by its accessibility, lightness, and a level of difficulty tailored to the choir's current musical standing.

Performances and Events The Open Social Choir performs during concerts organized as part of the Silesian Museum's event schedule, including:

  • Industry Biennale (Biennale Industrii)

  • Night of Museums

  • Barbórka (Miners' Day)

  • Special programs such as "Songs of the Night", "Music in Dialogue: Works for Voice and Keys", and the "Joyful Springtime Concert".

The ensemble also participates in external events, such as the 3rd Night of Choirs in Gliwice and the International Night of Choirs Festival in Ruda Śląska.
