THE "KLASTER" MIXED CHOIR
The "Klaster" Choir was founded in Zabrze 10 years ago on the initiative of choral singing enthusiasts; today, it consists of over [number]* members. Its singers are people of various professions and ages, residing in Zabrze as well as many neighboring cities. The repertoire of the Klaster Choir spans sacred and secular works, ranging from early to contemporary music, and from classical to popular genres.
Awards and Achievements The ensemble regularly participates in festivals and competitions, earning recognition from juries at events such as:

The "Gaude Cantem" festival in Bielsko-Biała (2022).

The "Rybnik Choral Autumn" (2022).

The "Voce Magna" competition and festival in Žilina, Slovakia (2023 and 2024).
A significant milestone for the choir was winning a Gold Diploma in October 2024 at the "National Choral Forum" in Wrocław. Additionally, last year the choir brought home two Silver Diplomas from the prestigious festival in Olomouc, Czech Republic, in the categories of sacred and popular music.
Special Projects The choir is frequently invited to collaborate on large-scale vocal-instrumental works, including G.G. Gorczycki’s Completorium, G. Rossini’s Petite messe solennelle, and C. Orff’s Carmina Burana. Participation in the Night of Choirs festival has become a "must-attend" springtime tradition for the ensemble. The Klaster Choir maintains an active social media presence, sharing concert recordings, music videos, and the latest news regarding its activities.
CONDUCTOR: Łukasz Łoboda
Łukasz Łoboda is a graduate of the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice. In 2020, he completed his Master’s degree with honors in Choral Conducting, studying under Dr. Hab. Iwona Bańska, Prof. AM.
Professional Experience:

Since his student years, he has served as assistant conductor for the Academic Music Ensemble of the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice and the Cathedral Choir in Gliwice.

In 2019, he became the conductor of the "Klaster" Mixed Choir, leading the ensemble to numerous awards and distinctions at choral competitions.

He actively participates in major musical events, such as the 18th International Grzegorz Gerwazy Gorczycki Festival, where in 2023 he conducted Gorczycki’s vocal-instrumental works Completorium and Laetatus sum.
Łukasz also pursues his musical passion as a vocalist in the vocal-instrumental ensemble "Wesoły Wędrownik", which continues the musical legacy of the Gliwice-based composer and musician, Norbert Blacha.
