"Fontes" is an amateur female choir currently consisting of 27 members, hailing from Rzeszów, the capital of the Podkarpackie Province. This autumn, the choir will celebrate its 15th anniversary. Since its inception, the ensemble has been under the expert artistic direction and conducting of Andrzej Mozgała. From its founding in 2011 until September 2024, "Fontes" represented the Parish of Our Lady of the Snows in the Budziwój district of Rzeszów. Two years ago, the group transitioned under the patronage of the Rzeszów Culture Center – Country branch.
Artistic Activity and Achievements The "Fontes" Female Choir actively participates in local ceremonies, anniversaries, and regional gatherings. Whenever possible, the ensemble performs in concerts (including charity events), competitions, and festivals. The choir has earned numerous commendations, distinctions, and awards. Their most recent success was winning 3rd place at the 12th Regional Review of Choirs "Marian Songs" in Lubaczów in 2024.
