VOCAL ENSEMBLE COLORATO

The "Colorato" Vocal Ensemble is a group of young people who love singing and music and, as the name suggests, strive to be exceptionally "colorful." It was formed in July 2024 at the initiative of young people living in the Gierałtowice commune. Since its inception, Eryk Walda, a student of choral conducting at the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice and a music activist, has been the band's conductor and "spiritus movens." "Colorato's" repertoire includes sacred, folk, and popular pieces. The ensemble operates at the Gierałtowice Communal Cultural Center. The singing youth frequently participate in events and festivals held in the region, Poland, and abroad.
