The "Gaudete" Choir sang together for the first time in February 2015. It was founded on the initiative of the then parish priest of Saints Peter and Paul Parish in Świętochłowice, along with Karolina Ryczek, who continues to serve as the conductor of the ensamble to this day.

 

The ensamble brings together parishioners who share a love for singing. Its mission is to take an active part in the life of the parish. Through their singing, they seek to participate in important church celebrations. Their repertoire mainly consists of liturgical pieces. They form a vibrant and close-knit group that not only works together but also enjoys spending time with one another outside of rehearsals. The ensamble has won several regional and national competitions. They are also eager to bring their music to places where people have limited access to the arts—for example, by organizing musical gatherings for residents of care homes.
