The “Heimat” Choir from Gliwice - Ostropa has existed since 1992. It was a four-voice, mixed choir, currently for 15 years it has been a women's choir singing for 2 and 3 voices, it has 20 people and its conductor is Anna Wolak, a graduate of the University of Silesia in Katowice and the University of Ostrava.


Our repertoire includes works of sacred and secular music, as well as works by great musicians, such as Bach, Mozart and others.

We sing in German, Polish, Czech, French, Italian and Latin. We operate under the patronage of the Social and Cultural Association of Germans of the Silesian Voivodeship.

We perform in Poland and abroad.

The choir has won many awards at festivals and choir competitions, where the motto is "Music knows no borders".
