Academic Music Ensemble of the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice

It is a choir consisting of students of the Silesian University of Technology and their friends, led since its founding in 1996 by prof. Krystyna Krzyżanowska-Łoboda. Over the last five years, he has participated in numerous competitions and festivals and is the organizer of the International Music Workshops "Musica Pro Europa".

In 2023, as part of the Vocal Music Days of the Vocal and Acting Faculty at the Academy of Music in Katowice, the group co-created a performance of Carmina Burana by Carl Orff. The same year, as part of the initiative of the Workshop Choir of the "Chórtownia" Foundation, shoulder to shoulder with choristers from all over Poland, the choristers of the Academic Musical Ensemble of the Silesian University of Technology performed Completorium and Laetatus sum by Grzegorz Gerwazy Gorczycki. This concert accompanied the eighteenth International Grzegorz Gerwazy Gorczycki Festival.

For years, the Academic Team of the Silesian University of Technology has been co-creating the "Wesoły Wędrownik" event – festival dedicated to the work of Norbert Blacha.
